Welcome! You have landed at Pegasus Wings! If you want to support West Seattle’s used & new bookstore in a way that doesn’t require you to actually stack more books on your bedside table, you’re in the right place!

If you’re familiar with Patreon, think of this website as our store’s Patreon – a place where fans can support us directly through a monthly subscription, and get exclusive goodies in return.

Why does this exist?

Never fear, Pegasus is in no danger of going out of business. However, like all retail businesses, our sales fluctuate. Even in the slow seasons, I (I’m the owner, Emma – hi!) would like to shower my incredibly hard-working employees with all the wages, health insurance, and retirement accounts they deserve! For example, another $1,000 a month means we could all get a $1/hour raise.

FOR ALL MEMBERS

EXCLUSIVE BOOK REVIEWS (and more)

Well, we’re just going to start with the book reviews. There will definitely be more things as we think of them. Free raffle entries for rare books? Behind-the-scenes weirdness? Coupons? Exclusive swag? Stickers!

We’re open to suggestions, too!

FOR SILVER-AND-UP MEMBERS

COMMUNITY BOOK CHAT

Do you want to find new friends who share your incredibly niche interest in sea disaster stories, ergodic literature, spicy cowboy romances, transcendentalist philosophy, or epic secondary-world fantasy? US TOO! So we’re starting a Discord community where we can all hang out.

ETA on the community is September/October 2026. Members of the Silver-and-up levels will be emailed directions on how to join once it’s live!

FOR GOLD-AND-UP MEMBERS

EXCLUSIVE DESIGNS AND DISCOUNTS!

For those of you who are super serious in your desire to support our indie bookstore, first of all – thank you! We’d like to give you something unique in return!

Members at the Gold-and-up level will receive a t-shirt or hoodie (your choice of style, color, and size) with an exclusive Wings design. We’ll be holding a contest to choose the design, so you’ll be able to weigh in on what gets chosen!

Whenever you wear the shirt/hoodie into the store (as long as you’re still a Gold+ member), you’ll get 10% off on your entire purchase. This does stack with your store credit!

FOR PLATINUM-AND-UP MEMBERS

TOTE-ALLY NICE

There’s a reason “donate and get a free tote!” is a classic! Totes are great! Ours are handmade locally by Misty Mountain, with screen printing by Gorilla Printing. Some of them even have zippers to keep your stuff from escaping! 😱

You pick which design you want, or if none of our current offerings does it for you, you can take a rain check and claim some future design!

FOR PALLADIUM MEMBERS

WOW!

You’re making a statement! Probably something along the lines of “yeah capitalism kinda sucks, but I did good so I’m paying it forward to my community.” We appreciate you.

As a token of our thanks, we have for you a leather keychain / bag charm, featuring our handsome Pegasus logo, which you can show to get 15% off on any purchase with us.

We think that’s what they mean when they say “quiet luxury.”
